At the 2023 Roosevelt Institute’s Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Awards ceremony, the Dior Quartet performed Robert Paterson's Anthem from String Quartet No. 3 and music by Dutch composers, Johann Wilms and Rosy Wertheim. This was a tremendous honor. FDR was from the Netherlands, and specifically from Zeeland, Middelburg. Anna Roosevelt (the granddaughter of FDR & Eleanor) spoke about Mostly Modern The Netherlands in her speech, and how our mission of international diplomacy embodies aspects of The Four Freedoms. The Honorable Nancy Pelosi spoke right after Robert Paterson's piece, she talked about our national anthem, and personally praised the incredible Dior Quartet.
